
Jane Chew, M.D., a leader in cosmetic, laser and
medical dermatology for over ten years, is the founding director of
Columbia Dermatology Center. Dr. Chew received her Bachelor of Arts
degree from Columbia University, and then she received her Medical
Degree from the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia
University. She completed her Internship in Internal Medicine at New
York Presbyterian Medical Center and then received her training in
Dermatology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center where she
also served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Chew has been a speaker at the American Academy
of Dermatology and has had several publications in peer-reviewed
journals in her specialty.
As a board certified Dermatologist, Dr. Chew is on
staff at Howard County General Hospital, an affiliate of Johns
Hopkins Medicine. She is also a clinical instructor at the University
of Maryland Medical Center Department of Dermatology.
Dr. Chew participates in regular free skin cancer
screening events in Howard County where she lives with her husband
and two children. She enjoys travelling, running and being a girl
scout troop leader.
